Pittsburgh Penguins Stencil

Pittsburgh Penguins stencil, painted in 3 colors

The Pittsburgh Penguins logo features a stylized penguin in black holding a hockey stick, set against a gold and black star-shaped shield. The team, founded in 1967, is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and competes in the NHL. The logo became iconic after the team's resurgence in the 1980s, particularly following the 1984 draft of legendary player Mario Lemieux, who led the Penguins to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992.
